CAN HYPNOTHERAPY
HELP ME?

"Hypnosis has a 93% success rate with less sessions than both behavioural and psychotherapy, according to research studies. This led researchers to believe that for changing habits, thought patterns, and actual behaviour hypnosis was not only the most effective method but that it needed less time/sessions than other forms of therapy" ~Barrios, 1970

The following Forbes article discusses this along with celebrities and historical figures such as Tiger Woods, Julia Roberts, Mozart and Einstein who have benefitted from hypnosis/hypnotherapy.

WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY AND WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT?

Hypnotherapy is a guided session using concentrated relaxation, sometimes implementing the submergence into a trance. This trance is an elevated level of awareness. Hypnotherapy looks at specific situations that cause suffering and examines them to find out what is happening at a deeper, subconscious level. Hypnotherapy deals with clients who want to better their lives in areas such as sleep, fears, unhealthy habits, relationships, confidence, communication, stress and much more.

"Therapeutic trance is a period during which patients are able to break out of their limited frameworks and belief systems so they can experience other patterns of functioning within themselves. Therapeutic trance is a period during which the limitations of one's usual frames of reference and beliefs are temporarily altered so one can be receptive to other patterns of association and modes of mental functioning that are conducive to problem solving. Erickson (1948) has also described hypnotic trance itself as a special psychological state which effects a similar break in the patient's conscious and habitual associations so that creative learning can take place" ~Hypnotherapy: An Exploratory Casebook (Erickson and Rossi).

"Therapeutic trance helps people sidestep their own learned limitations so they can more fully explore and utilize the potentials. The hypnotherapist makes many approaches to altered states of functioning available to the patient. Most patients really cannot direct themselves consciously in trance experience because such direction can come only from their previously learned habits of functioning which are inhibiting the full utilization of their potentials. Patients must therefore allow their own unconscious response potentials to become manifest during trance. The therapist, too, must depend upon the patient's unconscious as a source of creativity for problem-solving. The therapist helps the patient find access to this creativity via that altered state we call therapeutic trance. Therapeutic trance can thus be understood as a free period of psychological explortion wherein the therapist and patient cooperate in the search for those hypnotic responses that will lead to therapeutic change" ~Hypnotherapy: An Exploratory Casebook (Erickson and Rossi).

Hypnotherapy works because it shifts the brain into a hyper focused state on the subconscious mind. These methods are much faster at producing actual results than alternative therapies. Hypnotherapy is hands on, results motivated and helps clients change their lives.

This means that hypnotherapy is not only faster at achieving progress, but results are longer lasting as well. Hypnotherapy opens the door to surrendering and accepting what's going on in your life as well as dealing with lifelong patterns that have caused suffering; you can begin to feel better right away.
